My background in teaching and therapy were an excellent match with my MSc in ‘Writing for Therapeutic Purposes’ and meant that reflection and reflexivity became  part of the fabric of my life. It became clear that they are skills which can be learnt.  They enable you to live your life ‘on purpose’ through connecting with your authentic self on the page.

I have worked as a teacher of English for most of my adult life because I love the power and precision of language.  This began when I was a teenager and, suddenly, one day, understood the difference between ‘impair’ and ’spoil’.  This revealed to me that language had nuance and this has fascinated me ever since.

About

Writing is one of the ways in which we can listen to ourselves

Having a conversation with yourself on the page can bring clarity, perspective, self-care, insight, identity (bringing more depth and self-mastery) and wisdom.

It can highlight your needs, give you the vocabulary of needs and so assist in meeting unmet needs.  It can help you express what you know and possibly have known for a very long time, but have not known that you have known.

It is a place of interest, adventure, discovery, revelation, understanding, on-going education, insight.

I’d love to help you find your self.

See how you can work with me to uncover the wisdom within you. Discover how we can work together to explore your authentic self through transformative writing practices and let’s begin your journey toward clarity, self-discovery, and a life that truly reflects who you are.
